Alexander Knappe LIVE on Stage!

We are excited that Alexander Knappe will set the perfect tone for the audience right at the start of the Jump-Meeting. His hit "Wir kommen auch morgen noch wieder" has long become the new energy anthem of Cottbus. However, the native of Guben has influenced the region not only through his music but also through his personal commitment.

He has organized his own benefit open-air concert, a drive-in cinema festival during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the "Ich zieh mein´ Hut" initiative for children with cancer – all of which he managed to pull off in just a few years. For these efforts, he was honored with the title "Cottbuser of the Year" in 2020.

However, his music career is now coming to an end. The restlessness of being a musician and his own high expectations have taken a toll over the years. "Always giving 150 percent, always as if it were the last day, the last time, as if it were a matter of survival," he says. In February 2025, he will embark on his farewell tour, which will naturally conclude at the Cottbus City Hall. It's even more special that he will make an appearance at the Jump-Meeting in the Lausitz Arena before that.
