Springer-Meeting 2.0 on January 29, 2025 – Still Top-Class Athletics in the Cottbus Lausitz-Arena

Since the seemingly final 20th Springer-Meeting in the Lausitz-Arena in January 2024, much has happened. The departure of the long-time meeting director Ulrich Hobeck does not mark the end of world-class athletics in the Lausitz – this has also been strongly supported by the city of Cottbus. However, this was made possible only by Robert Sammler’s willingness to take on the leadership of the event as the new meeting director moving forward.
